How can this
resource help?

Subject area:
Fundamental British Values
Age group:
KS 3, KS 4, KS 5
Resources:
Policy templates
Format:
Excel sheet, Pdf

These resources include exemplar documents and templates to support teachers and school leaders in embedding the promotion of British Values in the curriculum. All schools are expected to promote fundamental British values of democracy, rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs. The resources would be particularly useful as a basis for an INSET day, to help staff understand how they are already promoting these values and where there are further opportunities to embed them into the curriculum.

A note about our third-party resources

Third-party resources are those not created directly by the Educate Against Hate team, or by the Department for Education. All third-party resources hosted on Educate Against Hate have undergone a quality-assurance process, a due diligence assessment and content review before being added to the site, so you can have confidence that you’re using trusted, accurate, high-quality content.

You should use any resources on this website at your own discretion. When selecting resources and materials to use, schools may find it helpful to review guidance produced by the Department for Education on using external agencies.
